Lawson says, Akhtar a talent gone waste

Following the Pakistan Cricket Board's decision to ban Shoaib Akhtar from international and domestic cricket for 5 years, PAK coach Geoff Lawson and former players have expressed their opinion on the pacer's expulsion. Coach Lawson who has worked with Akhtar for some time, said that the board's diktat will see a brilliant talent go waste. He however mentioned that Akhtar lacked the responsibility to be great fast bowler. Meanwhile, discarded allrounder Abdul Razak blamed the PCB for targeting seniors in the team. Javed Miandad feels, had the board tightened their stand on the pacer's previous antics, Akhtar would not have faced the axe.
